The Casio fx-92B Spéciale Collège along with its sister calculator, the French-labeled fx-92, are calculators designed for the European market. Arguably, the fx-92B may be for the Belgian market due to the languages which are avilable, which include English, French and Dutch. It is similar in design to the Casio Classwiz, but with less features avialable than the fx-991EX model. The modes available from the menu include the standard Calculate mode, Statistics, Table and Equation mode, with a linear simultaneous equation solver.

In addition, the fx-92B has the Verify mode, absent from the 991-EX standard model, but present in both the German and Iberian version of the Classwiz, and Ratio mode. The ratio mode differs slightly from the Classwiz version as it is presented as equivalent fractions rather than comparable ratios.

One of the unique features is the ability to switch off the automatic simplification of fractions. You can input a fraction and use it in its unsimplified version, but you can also use the SIMP feature to simplify the fraction and reveal the factor by which both numerator and denominator were divided.

The calculator also has the saught after GCD (HCF) and LCm functions avilable, although take care to use the semi colon (;) between your values. The comma (,) is treated as a decimal point on this calculator.
